Responsibilities
Purchaser (80%)
- To request for quotation from vendors for materials/services for our rigs
- To issue PO under instructions from Procurement Manager.
- Scan, keep and file all certificates pertaining to the purchases.
- Arrangement of hardcopy certificates and data book to Ops offices.
- Assist in new suppliers’ registration.
- Check and update received tax invoices.
- Track the delivery status of items and update Ops offices
- Preparation of shipping documents such as commercial invoice and packing list for exportation to countries where JDC rigs operate.
- Preparation of shipping markings.
- Arrange for exportation of materials to overseas warehouse for rigs operations.
- Local material transfers arrangements.
- Tracking of shipments.
- Working in tandem with warehouse supervisor.
- Forwarding of consignment notes, airwaybill, bill of lading to designated personnel for custom clearance.
- Highlight any discrepancies between shipment and purchase orders.
- Keep track of shipment number for each purchase.
- Update of PRQ Status File
- Take note of incoming shipments and arrange for clearance.
- To update importation and exportation of courier, seafreight and airfreight accordingly.
Warehouse Ops (20%)
- Day to day receipt of materials from suppliers for our rigs when needed.
- Physical checks on the materials upon receipt when needed.
- Item visual checks and photo taking when needed.
- Packing of materials for shipment to respective rigs when needed.
- Be accountable for items packed into boxes when needed.
- Keeping records of the inventory materials in the warehouse and yard
- To do receiving on Oracle inventory system under our buddy-buddy support system.
- To ensure there are no mis-shipment and all materials are accounted.
- To supervise or attend to loading and offloading of materials.
- To attend to inspectors conducting offsite inspection.
- To coordinate trailer, crane and forklift bookings.
- Day to day yard and warehouse maintenance when needed.
- Carry out equipment maintenance work as per rig offices request.
- Assist Supervisor in ensuring HSQE requirements are satisfied.
- To be on standby during Public Holidays for any operational emergency.
- All other adhoc duties as instructed by direct supervisor
