Job Duties:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new products, client mandates, and accounts, including fund restructuring and migration initiatives.
- Ensure middle and back office operational readiness.
- Document workflows for new business opportunities, product launches, and client-specific requirements.
- Develop and implement control checklists or terms of reference for managing new products and mandates. Oversee tracking and monitoring processes involving internal teams, external stakeholders, and service providers.
- Manage the onboarding of brokers and counterparties for various trading activities, including equities, bonds, FX, fixed deposits, and listed & OTC derivatives.
- Handle account opening documentation and maintain counterparty agreements.
- Oversee the derivatives processing function to ensure accurate and timely support for derivatives trades. This includes managing trade capture, processing, settlement, event monitoring, collateral management, valuation, and portfolio reconciliation, as well as trade repository reporting and billing for OTC derivatives.
- Monitor lifecycle events to integrate fixings, calculate coupons, manage payoffs, and handle early termination.
- Update and document procedures, processes, and controls, contributing to governance requirements.
- Lead and mentor team members in daily operations, offering technical guidance and training.
- Coordinate with custodians for account setup and asset transfers, ensuring timely account openings and accurate asset valuations.
