Role: SAP BODS Manager
Location: Singapore
Duration: 12 Months (renewable)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) team to design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Oversee data integration, data quality, data profiling, and data migration projects using SAP BODS.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of data integration solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Develop and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for data integration and ETL processes.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to team members.
- Maintain documentation of data integration processes, technical designs, and user guides.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP BODS features and industry trends to optimize data integration solutions.
Essential Skills:
- SAP BODS: Extensive experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services for ETL processes.
- Data Integration: Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and best practices.
- Data Quality and Profiling: Proficient in ensuring data quality and performing data profiling.
- SQL and Database Management: Advanced skills in SQL and database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA).
- Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing concepts and architectures.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data integration issues.
Additional Skills (Good to Have)
- SAP Data Services Administration: Experience in administering SAP Data Services environments.
- SAP HANA: Knowledge of SAP HANA and its integration with SAP BODS.
- Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and practices.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP BODS, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
