Retail Assistant Manager

This position reports to the Director. The retail assistant manager in the renting, leasing, and sale of private cars and motor vehicles (excluding motorcycles and scooters) oversees customer service, sales transactions, and vehicle management. They handle customer inquiries, manage vehicle inspections and servicing, maintain shop cleanliness, supervise staff, and oversee general administrative tasks like recording profits and losses. Their role ensures smooth operations, a tidy shop front, and excellent customer experiences in compliance with company policies. Job Description

Individual to be involved in:
1. Supervise customer service operations, ensuring prompt handling of inquiries and concerns.
2. Manage vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and servicing to maintain quality standards.
3. Maintain shop cleanliness and organization to enhance customer appeal and safety.
4. Supervise and support staff in daily tasks, fostering a productive and motivated team.
5. Oversee sales transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
6. Handle administrative duties including recording financial transactions, tracking inventory, and preparing reports for profit and loss analysis.


Job Requirement

1. Ability to handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively.
2. Knowledge of vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and servicing procedures.
3. Skills in tracking and managing vehicle inventory to ensure availability and accurate records.
4. Competence in supervising and supporting a team, ensuring smooth operations and customer service excellence.
5. Proficiency in conducting sales transactions, including contract preparation and compliance with legal requirements.
6. Capability in financial record-keeping, profit and loss analysis, and general administrative tasks related to retail operations.
