Responsibilities
Marketing
· Ensure a consistent approach to the various markets for the GC brand
· Guidance of the various marketing teams
· Oversee education of both internal and external stakeholders about product
· Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment with the company’s strategies
· Collaborate with GCIAG, GCC and other overseas operations as necessary (eg, Emerging Markets Strategy)
· Align with GCIAG to define and implement best practices, strategies, metrics and tactics.
· Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy and tactical initiatives across the Asia region (South East Asia, South Asia, Australasia)
· Ensure that all the regional marketing messages are positioned and aligned with global marketing guidelines, strategies and plans through a mix of traditional and digital communication tools.
· Ensure the communication loop between the 3 regions and HQ.
· Coordinate investigations on new channel opportunities (Corporate, Government, e-commerce)
· Drive the gathering and analysis of Market intelligence to help the regions in building their strategies.
· Identify the growing segments & trends.
· Understand the sub-regions capabilities, strengths & weaknesses.
· Contribute in challenging Deming for the Marketing and Sales functions.
· Supervise regional events and reviews organization.
Product Management
· Find and create new product / market opportunities to drive sales growth
· Develop and submit NPSS
· Develop and review short term and mid-term plans for launching new products
· Oversee appropriate marketing strategies for new products through strong collaboration with product management teams, Regional / Country sales managers and close KOLs (targeting, segmentation, pricing, branding / naming etc)
Quality Management
· Oversee the development of GQM throughout all business units within GC Asia
· Coordinate the activities of all the GQM Promoters
· Oversee and guide KI Activities across all business units
Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs
· Oversee the development of QA in GC Asia, and RA for SE Asia
· Ensure smooth communication between GCC, GCIAG, and other GC operation
· Provide direct guidance to the all GC Asia team (SE Asia, ANZ, IND)
Manufacturing Support
· Oversee the development of the India Factory
· Ensure smooth communication between GCC, GCIAG, GC Asia and GC India
· Provide direct guidance to the GC India team
