Job description
· Assist in managing Workplace Safety & Health, EHS and fire safety related matters in the company.
· Assist in creating workplace safety awareness and develop a strong safety culture in the company.
· Promote safe practices in the company and conduct safety related training.
· Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
· Prepare safety related reports and documentation for safety meeting and reporting.
· Responsible for the implementation and enforcement of all applicable workplace safety and EHS rules and regulations.
· Perform daily site inspection to conduct safety audits on personnel and equipment and take appropriate corrective actions if necessary.
· Prepare and conduct toolbox meeting.
· Implement and enforce Permit-To-Work (PTW) system for all high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations etc.
· Investigate incidents, submit accident reports and make recommendations for corrective actions.
· Ensure compliance of all workplace safety procedures and legislations.
· Assist and involve in Client and Local Authorities audit.
· Involve in creating MOS and lifting plan for projects.
· Any other duties as instructed by the WSHO and Management.
· Conduct safety briefing/training for all new employees, contractors, vendors & etc
Job requirements
· Preferably 2 years of supervisory experience in process / construction industry.
· In-depth knowledge of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and related regulations.
· WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, BSCC or equivalent certification.
· Proven experience in preparing safety documentation, including risk assessments and safety work procedures.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Effectively bilingual in English & Chinese to communicate with our chinese foreign workers.
· Mobility and willing to work as and when required.
· Able to work independently with people at all levels and at the same time work well in a team
