Overview
As a Regional Skills Advisor, you will develop AI skilling plans that are essential for societal and community AI transformation across our priority global and country-level partners. You will work closely with Microsoft Philanthropies country field teams and Worldwide Learning teams, to ensure Microsoft AI training and content enablement is a key differentiator to drive stronger awareness and adoption of our platforms across organizations that are driving skills and workforce development, at scale. These organizations will include national governments, education institutions, labor associations and unions. Your leadership in building learning and development strategies will enable these organizations to effectively utilize our technologies, including Copilot for M365, Azure AI, and Security.
This role will internally and externally evangelize our AI skilling offers and resources and be our go-to AI skilling expert for our internal field teams and key external partners. This role is vital in guiding our partner organizations and their employees, on developing and executing a customized AI skilling journey, enabling their employees to harness the potential of AI for their own lives and careers. The Regional Skills Advisors will need to have a passion for AI, and a willingness and energy to be the AI leader for our partner organizations and internal field teams. They will also have the knowledge of Microsoft’s AI skills offerings across Microsoft Philanthropies, Microsoft Learn, Worldwide Learning and Education.

Responsibilities
- Training and briefings: Conduct virtual and in-person executive training and briefings on AI trends, customer and industry patterns and best practices.
- AI Skills Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an AI advisor and share expertise and insights with internal and external stakeholders via multiple channels and mediums. Key internal resources to build expertise on are resources from WWL, MSLearn, Github, LinkedIn Learning and any other Microsoft ecosystem skills resources.
- Skills Solution Advisory: Support in-country organizational relationship owner with building a "Skills Plan" that will enable select organizations to understand their detailed learning calendar and modalities.
- Program Input: Provide input into program design by sharing best practices and drive innovation and collaboration.
- Regional enablement: Enable and coach to scale across partners organizations to ignite internal country leadership interactions and partnerships, including being the voice of the customer and field back into our programs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
