Job Description
Location: Singapore/Hong Kong/Shanghai


Job Summary:

We are seeking a VP/Director/Managing Director for Investor Relations/Fundraising.


This person will be responsible for spearheading our fundraising initiatives, enhancing investor relations, and expanding our network of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and other potential clients. This role requires a deep understanding of fundraising within the hedge fund industry, External Asset Management, multi-family office, or private banking sectors.


Key Responsibilities


1. Fundraising Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to attract new investors and raise capital for existing and new funds.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for capital raising, including institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

2. Investor Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors, ensuring clear communication of fund performance, strategy, and market outlook.
  • Address investor inquiries, provide detailed updates, and manage expectations to foster long-term partnerships.

3. Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape relevant to fundraising and investor relations.
  • Utilize insights to refine strategies and tailor approaches to meet investor needs and preferences.

4. Client Presentations & Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and reports to prospective and existing investors, showcasing fund performance, investment strategy, and value proposition.
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency in all communications and reporting.

5. Event Management:

  • Organize and participate in investor meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote the firm and its funds.
  • Plan and execute investor-related events to strengthen relationships and increase visibility.

6. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with CEO to align fundraising efforts with the firm’s overall strategic goals.
  • Provide input and insights into the fund’s positioning based on investor feedback and market situation.

Qualifications


Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior investor relations or fundraising role, specifically within hedge funds, External Asset Management, multi-family offices, or private banking sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in raising significant capital and managing high-profile investor relationships.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of building and maintaining high-quality investor relationships.
