What we need:
Reporting to Vice President / Senior Director, Infrastructure Operations, this role will develop & implement Infrastructure maintenance processes & procedures, drive the Data Center Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) improvement program and support the Country Data Center Operations to deliver operational consistency. This position is located in Singapore.
Key responsibilities:
· Data Center Infrastructure systems (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection & BMS) Maintenance scope & frequency – develop effective & cost optimised maintenance scope & frequency for data center infrastructure so as to maintain the data center service uptime
· Maintenance Review & Notification Process – develop the maintenance / risk analysis review & approval process and the customer notification process
· Data Center Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) Improvement program – define the standard approach to calculate data center PUE & reporting. Develop program to track & report data center PUE improvement
· Management Reports – Develop the DC Operations Infrastructure performance reports & identify potential system capacity issues
· Certification Program – Lead the planning for DC Energy improvement programs e.g. SS50001, Green Mark for Data Center ,.. with the consultant & implement the program through DC Operations
· Vendor Diversity Management – develop & implement the selection & qualification of vendors for infrastructure maintenance & upgrade works.
· Actively champion and increase awareness of their responsibility to occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization
The successful candidate:
· Diploma / Bachelor degree in Engineering, Facility Management or Data Center Operations
· 8+ years experience in data center facility operations & management.
· Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to manage across cultural / language barriers
· Leadership skills and ability to project soft power
· Good project management and problem solving skills
· Experience in Certification programs
· Self-motivated, positive and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
· Fluent English, Mandarin and additional Asian language will be an advantage
