Partner with the best
As the Sourcing Lead - Raw Material, you'll be responsible for managing the buying / sourcing activities. Applying sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.
As the Sourcing Lead - Raw Material, you will be responsible for:
- Placing and follow-up on POs (Purchase Orders).
- Managing relationships with suppliers for PO (Purchase Orders) execution.
- Managing problems, schedule changes and updating ERP.
- Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a BSc or college (or a high school diploma / GED with prior experience in Sourcing).
- Have additional experience in Buying-Procurement role.
- Have some knowledge of a manufacturing environment
- Have sound negotiating skills.
- Have good IT knowledge using a variety of software tools including Excel, Power Point and MRP systems (such as SAPand/or Ariba)
