Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure products meet the company’s quality standards
- Implement strategies for continual improvement in productivity, cost efficiency, and product quality
- Coordinate with other departments to identify and resolve manufacturing problems or bottlenecks
- Adhere to industry, company, and safety standards and regulations
- Ensuring that company policies are followed by all employees.
- Attending industry conferences and events to build networks and promote the business.
- Direct recruitment, training, and development strategies for all manufacturing staff
- Communicate with other departments, such as the financial department to establish budgets, HR department to hire new workers, or the logistics department to ensure the delivery of products.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics, and industry-specific production software
- Superb decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
- Strong project management capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
- Ability to work longer hours with prolonged period of standing.
