Role Overview
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions.
- Supervise Accounts Executive and manage external accounting service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage invoicing, progress claims, accrued revenue, WIP, and follow-up with debtors.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Handle all AP functions, including the sales commission system.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile and manage bank accounts in different currencies daily.
- Bank Applications: Manage applications such as Letters of Credit and Performance Bonds.
- Outsource Accounting: Check and approve the work of outsourced accounting companies for bookkeeping, GST, and annual tax returns.
- Compliance: Ensure accounting processes comply with legal requirements.
- Cashflow Forecasting: Assist with or prepare cashflow forecasting reports.
- Regulatory Submissions: Assist with or prepare any other regulatory submissions.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with or prepare financial reports for HQ in Japan.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure proper handling of receivables and payables.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Senior Accounts Executive / 2 years of experience as Assistant Accounts Manager.
