- Formulate budgets for ships and oversee costs.
- Identify and solicit prospective clients.
- Implement strategies to maintain and monitor certification of ships.
- Monitor results of all vetting inspections.
- Oversee execution of repairs and dry docking.
- Oversee implementation of workflow improvements to improve efficiency.
- Prepare ship condition reports for management.
- Review purchasing performance to identify shortcomings.
- Review the utilisation of resources.
- Set goals and expectations, and coach crew in line with organisation's competence and performance management objectives.
