Role Summary
HSE Officer will support Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) activities for the Process and Pipelines Services (PPS) team and provides HSE technical guidance following our policies and procedures and applicable legislation, standard, both for field operations and facility operations (worksites).
Essential Responsibilities:
- Functionality reports to HSE Manager.
- Operationally reports to Operations Manager/ Project Manager/ Location Manager
- To manage and advise location/project team on HSE matters.
- To ensure all applicable HSE program, HSE initiatives, HSE legislation, HSE lesson learned and HSE Training are cascaded, communicated and implemented at the work location/ projects.
- To liaise with respective customer’s representatives and attend customer’s meeting in regard to HSE matters.
- To review (and revise if permitted) critical project HSE procedures and documentation
- To record, review and update HSE performance and statistical report (manhours, incidents, HSE Inspection, Observation.) for work location/ project.
- To ensure all HSE incidents are reported into Gensuite and investigated within the time frame given.
- To collect all information, evidence, photo, witness statement and other applicable documentation in order to support the incident investigation process.
- To monitor, track and assure employees health profile and training recording including Competency Management Program (CMP), Learning Management System (LMS) and external training (aligned with Projects SOW).
- To manage project in all phases (Plan, execute and control) by developing HSE Management Plan, Job Site Inspection, incident investigation/ reporting and audit.
- To provide “hands on” HSE support at the work location/ project as assigned.
- To act as Project HSE Leader (if assigned) and ensure the right implementation of Project HSE Plan, Emergency Response Plan and other applicable Plan as Authorized
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree qualified in HSE discipline (or equivalent);
- Minimum five (5) years of field experience in HSE (preferable in O&G Full stream);
- Registered and Competent Safety and Health Officer by DOSH (or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Medically fit and active personality
- Locally or internationally recognized professional HSE qualification up to date with training requirements.
