We are seeking for a Demand Planning Analyst for our Asia Pacific Headquarter located in Singapore, eager to work with an experienced team in a fast-paced environment. We need a highly collaborative team player who is not afraid of challenges and changes.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Collect data from sources on factors known to affect demand.
- Analyse sales, inventory, and related data statistics
- Review historical sales trends and modelling data to forecast future demand.
- Obtain information on occurrences which could impact demand such as promotions and production delays.
- Gather updates from subsidiary regarding sales, and engaging stakeholders which can affect demand.
- Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.
- Provide input to subsidiary, aiming to develop inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Use and improve demand planning tools.
- Keep up to date on upcoming product launch and phase out timeline.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Perform other supply chain relevant duties as requested and instructed by the Supply Chain Manager
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting strong plus
- Strong understanding of Inventory Management & Demand Planning practices and procedures.
- Good understanding of supply chain process will be an advantage.
- Understanding of ERP logic (having worked with any ERPs before)
- Sensitive to numbers, attention to details and meticulous.
- Highly adaptable and able to cooperate with others.
- Professional at Analysis and problem-solving skills, the ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Prior experience for end-to-end supply chain in FMCG with limited shelf life will be highly desirable.
- Good with time management, mathematical and statistical skills.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and an additional language is a plus.
