Job Responsibilities:
- Design SAP ISU-DM solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.
- Develop functional specifications, configuration documents, and other technical documentation.
- Customize and configure SAP ISU-DM components to optimize device management processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP ISU-DM with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Develop and execute implementation plans, including data migration, system configuration, and user training.
- Configure and manage device categories, device types, and meter reading units within SAP ISU.
- Handle the lifecycle of devices, including installation, maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning.
- Implement and manage device communication protocols for accurate data collection.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SAP ISU Consultant, SAP ISU-DM Consultant, or in a similar role focusing on device management in the utilities industry.
- Extensive experience with SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities) and device management processes.
- Experience with project management, including leading SAP implementation projects.
- Proficiency in SAP ISU-DM components and tools, including configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities) and other relevant SAP modules.
- Knowledge of device communication protocols and data exchange mechanisms.
- Familiarity with ABAP programming and SAP development tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
