Pre-sales Cloud Consultant- In this role, you will be providing architectural design, engineering and maintenance support of cloud infrastructure services on Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Azure platform and also on-premise infrastructure. He or she will involve in design and develop strategy to transform on premise computing resources to cloud platform.
You Will:
- Providing full architectural design and engineering support of Cloud computing infrastructure in AWS/Azure platform and also on-premise infrastructure
- Perform administration and operations support of cloud infrastructure to ensure customer service level operation is meet
- He or she will optimize the capability, scalability, availability and security of the Cloud platforms to meet customers’ requirements.
- Handling Cloud Ops, automation with Cloudformation, Terraform and Ansible
- Network design - end-to-end configuration of network level components - internet gateway, proxies, firewall, Subnet design, CIDR allocation, Network level routing, BGP, Direct Connect and Transit Gateways
- Security configuration - Cloud native security controls through design of security groups, network access control list and IAM roles to create micro-segmentation based security. Secrets management, privileged access management (PAM), DDOS and WAF protection
- Provisioning of EC2, RDS, ELB and Workspaces/VDI
- Creating/Managing AMI/Snapshots/Volumes, Upgrade/downgrade AWS resources (CPU, Memory, EBS)
- Creation of Service Catalogs for new services
- Troubleshoot and performs root cause analysis as well as implementing corrective / preventive actions
- Basic Administration of DevOps Tools sets such as Git and Jenkins.
- Manage day-to-day incidents and Service request of AWS IaaS and PaaS services
- Execute low and medium impact changes as per change plan
- Regular update of Project specific documentations
- Coordinate with 3rd party partners/vendors for resolving the issues
- Support cost and security governance activities
- Willing to standby after office hour for operation support
You Bring:
1) Qualification and Experience Requirement:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent with more than 5 years of relevant experience
- Having technical IT certifications such AWS/Azure/GCP certification or VMware Certification– Cloud (VCP-Cloud) would be added advantage
- Familiar with ITIL process and possess ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
2) Technical Skills:
- Minimum 10 years experiences in infrastructure management and cloud operations
- Hands on experience in managing /Setup of various AWS services such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3,VPC, NACL, Route, SSL, Security Groups, RDS, IAM, etc.
- Working experience in vRealize Suite and VMware SRM, NSX and vSAN is a plus.
- Manage/Setup native AWS Monitoring services such CloudWatch, SNS.
- Manage/Setup DNS records on Amazon Route 53.
- Strong Hands on experience in managing any one of technology Linux, Virtualization, SQL, Oracle, Network, Firewall, etc
- Knowledge of AWS well architected framework
