Responsibilities:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support the General Manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of HDB projects. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry in Singapore. The AGM will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of HDB projects from inception to completion.
- Monitorproject progress, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports
- Lead and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company strategies and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and growth areas.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role overseeing HDB projects.
