Responsibilities:
– Conducting SIRE inspections for all vessels.
– Handling operational matters such as cargo hoses, mooring ropes, etc.
– Managing and approving deck stores and indentations.
– Overseeing deck maintenance and repair tasks.
– Monitoring and renewing ship’s certificates.
– Managing cargo operations and bridge-related matters.
– Addressing TMSA elements 4, 5, and 6.
– Closing out outstanding observations from audits.
– Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
– Minimum Experience: 1-2 years
– Minimum Education: Diploma holder or equivalent
– Certified ship officer with qualifications and seagoing experience pursuant to STCW 78, as amended, with at least COC3 or higher.
– Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
– Preference for candidates with experience liaising with MPA.
– Customer and client-oriented approach.
– Proficiency with MS Excel.
– Team player.
– Proactive with independent working skills.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and plan to meet tight deadlines and achieve required targets.
