Responsible in ensuring account receivables, payables activities and Journal entries are performed accurately and timely. Assist the senior team members in all aspects of financial and management reporting functions.
Key Accountabilities:
Financial and tax Accounting
- Review Sales invoices and Purchase invoices for posting.
- Preparing and filing of GST submissions and all required tax returns.
- Complete monthly closing activities including bank reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Knowledge of project tracking and accounting preferred
Financial Reporting and Auditing
- Assist in preparing regular financial and management reports for Management at Company and Group levels.
- Assist in preparing the annual consolidated financial statements.
- Liaise with external auditors including attending to all requests from auditors.
People Management
• Provide guidance to support team in ensuring accurate and timely posting of GL entries.
Budgeting and Planning
- Assist in quarterly forecast and annual budget preparation.
- Support and work closely with and across departments to provide financial and management information.
Others
• Participate in implementing process improvements and system enhancements.
• Assist in the ad-hoc analysis/reporting.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting certification.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Independent, positive, resourceful and a strong team player.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP Accounting System preferred though not compulsory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent efficiency in handling accounting issues with minimal guidance
