Senior/Engineering Assistant (Logistic & Automation)
Summary
- Operation: Assist in the operation of Logistic & Automation engineering systems and non-clinical equipment.
- Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of Logistic & Automation engineering systems and non-clinical equipment.
- Modification: Assist in the modification of Logistic & Automation engineering systems and non-clinical equipment.
- Replacement: Assist in the replacement of Logistic & Automation engineering systems and non-clinical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Construction Inspection: Assist senior engineer or manager in construction inspection work.
- Site Acceptance: Participate in site acceptance and system testing & commissioning activities.
- System Performance: Validate system performance meeting operation, reliability, maintainability, and supportability requirements.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Assist senior engineer or manager in overseeing preventive & corrective maintenance scheduling & coordination work.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist senior engineer or manager to oversee the performance of outsourced maintenance service provider and specialist vendors.
- Service Recovery: Ensure prompt service recovery for any breakdown of equipment and systems to minimize disruption to service operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering.
- 1-4 years of experience or ITE graduate with at least 5 years’ electrical / mechanical / mechatronics / automation systems experience is preferred for Assistant Engineer.
- At least 5-6 years of experience or ITE graduate with at least 8 years’ electrical / mechanical / mechatronics / automation systems experience is preferred for Senior Assistant Engineering.
- Conversant in reading and interpreting architectural and M&E schematic drawings.
- Conversant in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to use 3D perspective drawing software such as BIM will be an added advantage.
