Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development using Java / Spring Boot and associated technologies;
- Proficient in developing, maintaining, and supporting custom-built software applications;
- Ability to prepare technical documentation using Jira and Confluence;
- Experience in performing unit testing on software deliverables and capable of providing assistance during product test, integration test, and user acceptance test phases;
- Skilled in providing post-implementation support and conducting investigation and troubleshooting;
- Familiarity with JPA (Java Persistence API) and Hibernate;
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts;
- Hands-on SQL experience, preferably with MS SQL;
- Proficiency in using Git and understanding of Git workflow;
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams;
- Should have strong communication skills both written and spoken.
Desired Skill-set
- Exposure to Jenkins for continuous integration;
- Familiarity with Kubernetes;
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and support custom-built software applications using Java / Spring Boot and associated technologies;
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation using Jira and Confluence to ensure clarity and maintainability of software solutions;
- Perform thorough unit testing on software deliverables and collaborate effectively during product test, integration test, and user acceptance test phases;
- Provide proactive post-implementation support, including investigating and troubleshooting issues as they arise;
- Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to contribute to various aspects of software development and maintenance;
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines;
- Continuously improve software development processes and practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
