Salling Search is currently recruiting a Project Executive/ Freight Forwarder FPSO for a leading global shipping and logistics company based in Singapore.

Responsibilities
- Operate as an implant at the client's site to manage and enhance logistics and shipping processes.
- Forecast and plan shipments based on materials expediting reports to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate with the client’s suppliers for cargo collection and identify suitable sailings for shipments.
- Liaise with overseas offices to obtain freight rates, manage bookings, and track shipment statuses.
- Source freight rates from carriers and handle booking arrangements.
- Activate shipments, prepare relevant shipping documents, and assign Unique Document References (UDRs).
- Prepare import and export permits for customs declarations to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor daily shipment status and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Attend client meetings to provide shipment status updates and address any issues.
- Prepare quotations and invoices in a timely manner for client billing.
- Coordinate with local and international offices for tender preparations and submissions.
- Prepare internal project costs, P&L reports per shipment, and monthly financial summaries.
- Travel both locally and internationally as required to support project needs and client requirements.
Requirements
- Minimally 2 to 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Experience with FPSO freight forwarding projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and perform effectively under time constraints.
- Ability to handle stress and work flexibility, including after-office hours if necessary.
- Proficient communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Excellent team player with strong IT skills, particularly in Office365.
- Physically capable of national and international travel as needed.
