Responsibilities
- Project Schedule Management: Formulate and uphold the project schedule to efficiently manage project timelines and commitments.
- Resource Deployment: Develop, monitor, and assess equipment and labor deployment plans for construction activities.
- Program Development: Create and update pre-construction and construction programs for the Project Management team.
- Progress Reporting: Conduct monthly, weekly, and daily project progress reporting tasks.
- Claims Analysis Support: Provide information and aid in claims analysis using scheduling system capabilities for accurate depiction of construction activities.
- Activity Definition: Define specific activities considering the Master Project Schedule, labor, material, and equipment availabilities throughout the project duration.
- Progress Evaluation: Evaluate actual weekly progress, including Actual Progress S-Curve and Manpower Histogram, against the approved Baseline.
- Productivity Targets: Schedule and predict weekly and monthly work, setting productivity targets.
- Schedule Maintenance: Maintain the Baseline Schedule, regularly update the current schedule, and analyze the effects of proposed changes and additional activities on the project using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project software.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor project progress with a continuous improvement mindset, adjusting planned schedules according to site conditions and contractual obligations. Propose changes to management, especially in case of schedule variances.
- Site Inspections: Conduct periodic site inspections to verify actual progress and capture progress photos for documentation and management presentations.
- Other Duties: Perform any other necessary duties as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Certification on Project Management in PrimaveraP6 Software
- 3-5 years Project Planning and Programme experience in Construction Industry
- LTA / MRT project experience will be an advantage
- Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software of P6 operating expertise or knowledge of Microsoft Project software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in analysing, report writing and preparation
