Established in 2015, Soristic is a social impact consultancy. Our experienced team has over 20 years of experience working with/in the social sector. We conduct social impact assessment for charities’ programmes as well as corporates’ sustainability programmes. We run youth programmes on empathy, inclusivity and leadership and support a grantmaker in the administration of a grant.
Brief Description:
The candidate will support us in our grant management work as well as support us in planning, organising and implementing projects. He/She will support finance work by analysing budgets and receipts from different project applicants. In addition, the candidate supports us in community outreach to reach out to more people to advance community philanthropy.
This is a one-year contract.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Grant management - review and scoping of projects
2) Finance work (e.g. review budget and receipts from different project applicants)
3) Conduct research on applicants' projects
4) Attend external events e.g. partners' or grantees' programmes and workshops (sometimes this can be during weekends or after office hours)
5) Marketing programmes
6) Community outreach such as organising and implementing community events
7) Support implementation of our own ad-hoc events
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about social causes and looking for opportunities in creating social impact as we scale up our work. Someone who can work independently and can multi-task.
We have a flexible work arrangement that allows you to balance your other personal responsibilities. You can work 4 hours a day or in an arrangement that works for you and the organisation. You are expected to come to office 2 days/half days a week while work from home on the other days.
