The Merchandising Executive implements the merchandising plans and product category strategies as well as managing partner relationships. He/She also contributes to the development and sourcing of products in accordance to allocated budgets. - Analyse product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory level.
- Consolidate information to forecast merchandise demand.
- Contribute to new product design blueprints or mock-ups.
- Coordinate the development of patterns or mock-ups for new product designs.
- Coordinate the production of new products.
- Design and guide the development of shopper marketing collaterals.
- Implement product category's private label's and/or house brand's product range and assortment plans, pricing and promotional plans.
- Measure effectiveness of change in visual merchandising displays.
- Monitor costs and adhere to budget allocation.
- Organize relevant information for negotiations with partners.
- Provide feedback on quality and effectiveness of partnership.
- Review private label and/or house brand product quality.
