Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our motor workshop's retail section. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail section within the motor workshop.
Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and adequately stocked.
Implement and maintain operational standards to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Customer Service:Drive sales and meet targets by promoting products and services to customers.
Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Inventory Management:Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of products while minimizing excess stock.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods and negotiate favorable terms.
Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Team Leadership:Lead, train, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Schedule staff shifts and manage their performance, ensuring high levels of productivity and morale.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Marketing and Promotion:Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Plan and execute promotional campaigns and events.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Financial Management:Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability.
Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance and make informed decisions.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Good understanding of retail business operations and customer service principles.
