Job Scope:
As a Trade Executive, the role involves various responsibilities related to the development, analysis, and management of day to day pricing strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage daily pricing activities and establish rate guidelines and surcharges as needed.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive pricing and yield management strategies in alignment with the company's overall business objectives and market conditions.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to determine optimal pricing structures.
- Oversee revenue and trade volume forecasts.
- Conduct cost analysis to determine the profitability of existing pricing structures and propose adjustments as needed.
- Conduct feasibility studies on pricing tactics and trade services, actively participating in business development.
- Compile monthly trade reports, including Container Business Performance Analysis and Contribution Margin performance assessments.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Maritime, business or any related discipline is a plus.
- More than 1 year of pricing experience or commercial work in a large shipping firm is a plus.
- Team player with strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Meticulous, outgoing personality, assertive and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.
