Trade Operations Manager - Middle Office - Oil & Gas Industry

Job Description:

  • Compile and analyze monthly closing data.
  • Prepare quarterly income and expenditure forecasts.
  • Create internal reports in Japanese.
  • Provide KYC support.
  • Confirm credit statuses.
  • Approve accounts receivable and payable.
  • Confirm USD payments.
  • Handle registration tasks with banks.
  • Respond to various surveys (e.g., Statistics, MPA).
  • Manage transactions with IRAS.
  • Confirm with Deloitte.
  • Support inquiries from accounting firms in Singapore and Japan.
  • Manage and update regulations, internal rules, and guidelines.
  • Oversee contract management.
  • Perform general internal confirmation work (contracts, LOI, etc.).
  • Manage all documents.
  • Arrange marine insurance.
  • Check warranty details and costs with HQ.
  • Coordinate tasks with the tax agent and secretary company.
  • Support the branch manager with ongoing instructions.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Handle general affairs (e.g., hotel reservations, appointment support).
  • Manage correspondence with the headquarters in Tokyo.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in credit management and KYC processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable/payable processes and USD payment confirmation.
  • Experience with bank registration tasks.
  • Familiarity with government agency reporting and survey responses.
  • Audit support experience, preferably with international accounting firms.
  • Understanding of business management, including regulation, contract, and document management.
  • Experience with arranging marine insurance and coordinating with HQ on warranty details.
  • Coordination experience with tax agents and secretary companies.
  • Excellent data entry and general affairs management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in correspondence with international headquarters.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English is preferred due to the nature of internal reporting and communication with HQ in Tokyo.
