Responsibilities
- Supervise delivery drivers and logistics staff to ensure all deliveries comply with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or unforeseen issues.
- When needed, personally deliver goods to customers or clients. Ensure that all deliveries are executed with the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize transportation costs and improve delivery efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders regarding delivery status, issues, and inquiries. Address and resolve any delivery-related problems promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and customer interactions. Prepare and submit regular reports on delivery performance, including metrics on timeliness, accuracy, and customer feedback.
Prerequisites
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics delivery coordination.
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to drive and deliver goods safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and route planning tools.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
