Our client is a renowned professional services provider with a wide consulting network across various parts of the world. Due to continuous business growth within their Singapore office, they are urgently seeking to hire audit professionals to join their team as an Audit Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and expertise to professional staff and participate in the conduct of a wide range of assurance services, with a particular focus on complex audits and assistance with regulatory compliance.
- Develop and train team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
- Understand the clients’ industry, key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
- Plan engagement objectives to ensure compliance with professional standards and appropriately address risk. Prepare and review management communications, proposals budgets, and negotiate fees and overruns.
- Review and approve for signing all financial statements, opinions, reports, and other deliverable documents for clients.
- Possess sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing.
- Display a high level of people and business skills, and managers will be expected to have shown an ongoing commitment to their personal and professional development through continuing education and development.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (CA Singapore or other relevant professional accounting qualifications)
- Possess at least 5 years of relevant audit experience in a professional accounting firm in Singapore
- Having knowledge of Caseware software would be an added advantage
