Job Description for Assistant Accountant:
· Handles full set of accounts (Include accounts receivable and payable function)
· Responsible for month-end and year-end closing
· Collaborate with internal and external teams to work on various accounting duties
· Performing reconciliation of accounts
· Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
· Preparation of monthly accounts’ schedules
· Preparation of monthly management reporting
· Liaising with auditors for statutory audit
· Ensure compliance with financial and group policies to maintain good internal control system and operational processes for audit review
· Other ad-hoc accounting functions
Job Requirements:
· Recognized Degree or Diploma in Accountancy / Finance / Banking or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years of experience of accounting
· Proficient in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
· Strong in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productivity tools
· Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity of the accounts
· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
· Meticulous and diligent with positive working attitudes
· Good time management skill to work under strict timeline
· Ability to multitask across different projects
· Preferably with supervisory skill
