Job Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Create and implement tailored sales strategies to meet the specific needs of key accounts. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional logistics services.
- Account Planning: Develop detailed account plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and client satisfaction. Regularly review and update account plans based on performance metrics and client feedback.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Manage contract renewals and amendments as needed.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. Provide regular reports on sales performance, account status, and market conditions to senior management.
- Customer Service and Support: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues and resolving problems promptly. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate account performance metrics, such as sales volume, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. Implement corrective actions and improvements based on performance data.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, finance, marketing) to align on account-specific needs and strategies. Facilitate communication between the client and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts. Engage in proactive outreach to identify potential new key accounts.
-Feedback and Improvement: Gather and analyze feedback from clients to drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Implement strategies to enhance client experience and strengthen relationships.
Job Requirement
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or account management within the logistics or supply chain industry. Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and industry trends. Familiarity with market dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in logistics are a plus
