Responsibilities for Supply Chain Manager
· Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes
· Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
· Setting up and maintaining schedules for inbound and outbound
· Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
· Discussing and negotiating shipping rates with logistic partners
· Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
· Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
· Supervising the work of the logistic planners and warehouse staff
· Manage and develop logistics and warehouse staff
· Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
· Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security and safety procedures and protocols.
· Create and manage budgets
· Working with other departments in the organization to implement logistical improvements
