You will report to the Senior IT Manager, assisting him/her in the following areas:
- Server and desktop management
- Network and security management
- Change and Patch Management
- Risk assessment and mitigation
- Device and Asset Management
- Audit and reporting
- Documentation on procedures, guidelines and standards
- Train and update employees of any changes in security controls, policies and procedures
- Support the Head of department in all other matters, as and when required
- You are expected to perform additional responsibilities that will be assigned from time to time as your role matures and progresses over time.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology,Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- Hands on experience in Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and administration including managing of user accounts, group, permissions and AD Group Policy
- Hands on experience in Cloud computing such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365
- Good understanding of network infrastructure components such as firewall, router and network switches
- Knowledge of virtualisation concept with platform such as Hyper-V
- Knowledge of IT security best practices, antivirus, firewall, user access control and vulnerability management
- Min 2-3 years’ relevant experience in IT support environment
- Knowledge of MAS Technology Risk Management Guideline would be advantageous
- Possession of Microsoft-related certificates such as MCSE, MCSA or other technical qualifications.
