- Responsible for finance and costing related activities.
- Monitor, evaluate and analyse all direct and indirect expenses with the aim of reducing costs and achieve savings.
- Involve in reviewing actual project cost against budget. Work with operation teams on-site to drive for cost initiatives and control.
- Work closely with finance team to review and control for AR & AP to improve company cash flow.
- Analysis of cost variations such as purchase price variance, subcontracting and scrap.
- Ensure timely approval of operational vendor expenses.
- Standardization and consistency of cost reporting.
- Prepare monthly cost analysis report to management.
- Ensure timely and accurate month end closing activities including preparing of related journal entries and cost variance analysis report.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations accounting policies and procedure.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Problem Solving / Analytical skills.
- Good communication & presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Organised and meticulous with an eye for details.
- Ability to manage time well to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
- Team player and adaptable to changes.
