Working terms:
- 5 days’ work week. Working over weekend might be required if event date falls on a weekend. It’s rare but might have.
- Travel is required in APAC regions. Flight, accommodation and meals are included.
- This position will be on a 1-year contract, with option to renew for 1 additional year OR convert into a full-time permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- On-site set-up pre-event and site tear-down post-event
- Contact vendors to obtain quotes for goods and services
- Develop accommodation plans for participants
- Develop initial logistics and transportation plans to support event plans
- Develop registration process protocols for events
- Coordinate with internal Event & Design teams ensuring smooth collaborations & execution
- Taking notes in internal and external meetings
- Stock take/count, packing and coordination of delivery
- Good communications skills and ability to liaise with end-users.
- Customer service oriented, positive work attitude and good problem-solving skills.
- Display a high level of initiative with ability to work independently.
- Able to plan and prioritise workload with less supervision.
- Continuous self-learning and self-initiating.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 1 to 2 years working experience in Event management is preferred. Fresh graduate with an interest in Event Management is welcome!
- Multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, responsible, meticulous and a problem-solve
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office, Google, MS Teams
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to handle a dynamic working environment (involves physical work, conducting outdoor events under the sun.
