Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with a strong background in the banking domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of leading successful projects in complex, high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
- Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, helping them to continuously improve processes, self-organize, and achieve higher levels of performance and maturity.
- Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment of project goals, scope, and priorities.
- Remove impediments and obstacles that may hinder the team's progress and ensure seamless delivery of products and solutions.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Utilize Jira or similar Agile project management tools to track and report on team progress, metrics, and performance.
- Drive and support Agile transformations within the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly within the banking domain.
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong emphasis on the banking domain.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification (e.g., PSM, PMI-ACP).
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Proven experience in leading Agile teams and delivering complex projects within strict timelines.
- Strong understanding of the banking industry, including regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, CSP-SM).
