Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall legal affairs of the company
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Legal & Compliance Department in HQ
- Draft and review documents such as long-term LNG agreements and spot market agreements
- Handle legal dispute resolutions involving LNG counterparties
- Mitigate legal risks and develop policies
- Take charge of resolving local legal disputes for the company
- Oversee the registration and audit processes for transaction counterparts
- Provide advice on laws and regulations affecting the company's operations
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments in Singapore and the industry
- Support corporate governance actions
- Provide legal training and awareness
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of in-house counseling experience for a multinational organization, preferably in an energy-related industry
- Singapore or PRC bar qualified, or common law qualified lawyer with substantial practice history
- Degree in Law or equivalent
- Good knowledge and experience in commercial law and contract negotiations
- Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills
