JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and lead the safety team and subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety management system at sites
- Assist Workplace Safety & Health Officer in accident investigations and analysis, conduct tool box meetings, perform daily site inspection and recommend corrective actions, etc.
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements, ensuring all workers comply with MOM requirements
- Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessment, Method statement, permit to work statistics
- Conduct in-house safety orientation for all new joiners to the site, and also conduct daily tool box meeting
- Inspect project sites to ensure safety measure are being carried out at all times
- To identify safety hazards on site
- Work closely with safety officer and safety personnel to ensure safety compliance are met
- Respond to WSH incidents by identifying causes and recommend corrective measures.
- Co-ordinate closely with site operation teams on all safety, health, environmental and security issues
- Experienced in dealing with MOM and NEA
- Experienced in preparing RA and SWP
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least O-levels and above
- Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Familiar with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
- Possess relevant Certificates (e.g. Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course)
- Team oriented, attentive to details and organized
