The Opportunity
We are looking to hire a skilled Biomedical support engineer to assist our clients with all biomedcial/device technical-related issues. You will be required to respond to report tickets and assist clients via remote access or on-site. This may include installing hardware and software systems, diagnosing networking issues, installing upgrades, and resolving IT issues.
To ensure success as a technical support engineer, you must have a Biomedical background, good knowledge of IT systems, basic medical device testing process, high-level communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Ultimately, a top-class support engineer provides valuable IT and biomedical assistance and support while maintaining strong customer relations.
Biomedical/Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Drive Biomedical SOP, support testing and validation.
- Fullfill onsite device troubleshooting and annual preventive maintenance.
- Respond to biomedical/technical support tickets.
- Support customer and troubleshoot onsite or via remote access.
- Willingness to work with hospital BME/MMD on annual testing and validation.
- Familiar with installing of new device hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting medical device, networking, and software issues.
- Proposing simple and effective solutions.
- Providing basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Support internal IT requirements.
- Maintaining good client relations.
- Complete job reports.
Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Biomedical engineering or computer science certification.
- Some work experience as a Biomedical QA/QC testing technical support engineer.
- Good knowledge of hardware and networking systems.
- Knowledge of remote access systems such as TeamViewer.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
- Good attitude with positive mindset.
