A highly reputable firm is looking for an experienced Paralegal to join the team!
- Organize and maintain extensive electronic and paper case files. Handle the daily aspects of cases by implementing procedures to maintain client materials/documents and index or upload these materials to the database for review by the associate team. Manage correspondence on disputes in a similar fashion.
- Collaborate with trainee lawyers and interns for initial document reviews, with subsequent reviews handled by the associate team.
- Assist associates with written work during submission phases by ensuring consistent document styles, conducting cite checking and proofreading, and managing the collection and organization of supporting documentation, including indexing.
- Head the logistical planning of hearings, which involves negotiating contracts with transcribers, interpreters, and hearing venues. Work closely with other fee-earners on opening and closing presentations, including the preparation of PowerPoint presentations. Assist with the preparation of cross-examination bundles, working closely with fee-earners throughout the process.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have experience as a paralegal or legal assistant at a top-tier international dispute resolution practice, dealing with high-value, complex disputes—such as commercial litigation, international arbitrations (commercial or investment treaty/state-to-state), or public international law—with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience
