General Description:
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, planning, and operations. The CFO provides strategic financial guidance to support business growth, drives financial performance, and ensures compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies and plans
- Lead and manage the finance team, including financial planning, accounting, and treasury functions
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and decision-making
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with investors, auditors, bankers, and financial partners
- Oversee risk management, internal controls, and financial governance
- Drive financial performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability
- Lead M&A, fundraising, and other strategic financial initiatives
Experience, Education, and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in CFO or other financial senior leadership roles
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, laws, and standards
- Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and make strategic decisions
- Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
