Purpose of the Job

Job Description Summary

· The campaign strategist will drive Samsung’s digital marketing campaign strategy across the SEAO Region. This role is responsible for developing and executing multi-channel CRM strategies (Paid & Owned) to achieve business KPIs for Samsung’s smartphones and consumer electronics categories. You will oversee campaign regionalization, CRM programs, and ensure effective execution aligned with Samsung’s global and regional goals.


Roles & Responsibilities

Campaign Planning (25%)

o Regional Strategy Development: Design and execute tailored campaign strategies for both owned and paid channels, focusing on driving customer acquisition, growth, and retention specific to the SEAO region.

o Audience Strategy: Develop and refine regional first-party (1P) audience strategies to enhance targeting and personalization efforts.

o Agency Coordination: Lead and collaborate with agency partners to develop comprehensive communication strategies, creative toolkits, and campaign approaches.

o Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts with Samsung’s broader business objectives and sales programs.

o Performance Evaluation: Analyze campaign performance reports, forecasting metrics, and industry trends to measure impact and efficiency. Use insights to refine strategies.

o Reporting & Innovation: Create and deliver presentations on growth opportunities, market performance, and strategic focus. Identify and pilot innovative marketing initiatives to bridge business gaps.


CRM Management (45%)

o Regional CRM Leadership: Act as the primary CRM expert for 8 markets, ensuring strategies are customized for diverse market needs and customer behaviors.

o Briefs & Calendars: Develop and manage marketing briefs and creative calendars to support CRM activities. Ensure timely delivery and alignment with campaign goals.

o Audience Segmentation: Conduct thorough target audience research and implement data-driven customer segmentation and contact plans for personalized CRM programs.

o CRM Campaign Tool: Utilize marketing automation tool to deploy CRM campaigns, ensuring effective use within automated workflows and personalized customer journeys. Leverage analytics tools to monitor performance and make data-driven optimizations.

o Creative Alignment: Collaborate with the creative team to ensure content and creatives are aligned with campaign objectives and Samsung’s brand standards.

o Performance Management: Drive action plans through regular bi-monthly calls with markets, monitoring performance to meet targets.

o KPI Definition & Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance drivers (KPDs) across CRM channels to ensure alignment with Samsung’s business results.

o Global Coordination: Partner with HQ to execute global project launches and regional initiatives, ensuring integration with local execution.

o Customer Experience: Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience based on feedback and market insights. Monitor competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.


Execution and Management (30%)

o Project Oversight: Manage multiple projects, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines and milestones. Provide regular updates on progress.

o Agency Management: Collaborate with key agencies to ensure productive and efficient campaign execution. Address challenges to maintain high-quality outputs.

o Analytics & Optimization: Utilize advanced analytics tools to track performance metrics and optimize campaign effectiveness. Leverage data to make informed decisions.

o Opportunity Identification: Analyze existing data to uncover quick win opportunities that drive immediate business results.

o Administrative Support: Assist with budgeting, administrative tasks, and reporting needs to support the digital marketing team


Skills Required

Skills:

· CRM Systems Expertise: Proficiency in CRM platforms and campaign management tools (e.g. SAP, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

· Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and drive strategic decisions.

· Project Management: Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects and campaigns, including leading cross-functional teams and meeting deadlines.

· Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience working effectively with internal teams and external agencies.

· Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing trends, strategies, and best practices, especially within technology and consumer electronics sectors.


Key Competencies:

· Strategic Planning & Execution: Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with business goals and drive performance.

· Advanced CRM Management: Expertise in managing CRM systems to optimize customer segmentation, engagement and retention strategies.

· Data-Driven Optimization: Proficiency in utilizing data analytics to enhance campaign effectiveness and achieve targeted outcomes.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skill in coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure integrated and effective marketing strategies.

· Innovation & Best Practices: Capability to identify and apply industry best practices and innovative approaches to stay ahead in the market.

· Project & Stakeholder Management: Competence in overseeing projects from inception to completion while managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring high-quality outcomes.


Qualification & Other Requirements

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, SAP/Salesforce/Adobe Campaign) will be a plus.

· Experience: Proven experience in digital marketing and CRM, particularly in technology / consumer electronics sectors / CPG/Banking or finance sectors
