Job Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Acquisition Analyst to support our acquisition efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for performing pro forma analyses and evaluating the financial health of potential acquisition targets. Your insights will be crucial in guiding strategic decisions and ensuring the success of our acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to support acquisition decisions and provide insights into industry trends and competitor performance.
- Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by gathering and analysing relevant financial and operational data.
- Pro Forma Analysis: Develop and analyse pro forma financial statements for potential acquisitions to project future performance and financial impact.
- Financial Evaluation: Assess the financial health of potential acquisition targets by analysing financial statements, assessing risk factors, and identifying key performance indicators.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and strategic implications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including finance, strategy, and legal, to support the acquisition process and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of pro forma analysis and acquisition processes.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modelling software).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
