Security Facilitator

SUMMARY:

Serves as the principal in providing security services and related operations to ByteDance. Job functions may include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, audit compliance, scheduling, system monitoring, access rights maintenance, and training.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists Security Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of security systems and processes, including access control, surveillance systems, and incident response
  2. Assists in managing a team of security personnel, including security guards and security operations staff
  3. Ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of security equipment and systems
  4. Assists in the conducting of regular audits and assessments of security systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
  5. Assists in the developing and implementing standard operating procedures for security operations
  6. Collaborating with other departments, integrating security measures, and ensuring consistent security practices
  7. Assists in developing and conducting security training programs for employees
  8. Assists in responding to security incidents and emergencies, including coordinating with local law enforcement and other relevant organizations
  9. Facilitate internal/external physical security audits and tracking of corrective and preventive actions till closure

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screening
  • and background investigation.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills, certifications, or authorizations specified for the assigned accounts.
  • Knowledge of 24x7 security operations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
  • Skill in staff supervision, including assigning work and providing training and discipline.
  • Ability to arrive at logical conclusions with input derived from multiple sources.
  • Ability to determine courses of action based on detailed written instructions.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
  • Capable of learning a variety of security and safety devices and controls.
  • Ability to track and maintain scheduled assignments.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
  • Advanced computer skills are mandatory.
  • Strong Oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
  • Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to be an effective leader and member of project teams.
  • Ability to take initiative and achieve results.
  • Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
