Our client in the HVAC technology industry is seeking an experience Direct Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist in the APAC HQ. The Talent needs to have strong background in managing complex Direct AP processes especially related to vendor invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operations and an outsourced accounting team to resolve long-standing Goods Received but not Invoiced (GR/IR process) and Goods Issued but not Transferred (GIT process) issues.
- Input accurate data for GIT and manage it efficiently.
- Optimize the Purchase to Pay (P2P) procedure to enhance workflow and reduce discrepancies.
- Demonstrate expertise in Direct AP, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize SAP knowledge to streamline processes and improve system functionality within the AP department.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with suppliers and internal teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in Direct AP accounting, with a focus in resolving complex supplier invoice issues.
- In-depth understanding of SAP systems and the ability to leverage this knowledge to improve AP processes.
- Due to the need to frequently interact with China team members, Mandarin-speaking Talent would be a plus and not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and instill a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly in a team environment with different functions including but not limited to Procurement, Operation, Internal Finance and external outsourcing team.
Start Date: Late August 2024.
