Job Responsibilities:
A Flight Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft flights. You will work closely with pilots, air traffic control, and other airline personnel to plan and monitor flights from departure to arrival.
- Brief crew on flight plans, weather conditions, and any potential hazards.
- Provide information on alternative routes and contingency plans.
- Coordinate with air traffic control, ground handling, maintenance, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure timely aircraft turnaround and minimize delays.
- Track and monitor flights in progress using flight tracking systems.
- Communicate with pilots to provide updates on any changes or issues that arise during the flight.
- Ensure all flight operations adhere to safety regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure fuel requirements for flights are accurate
- Assist in managing in-flight emergencies and irregular operations.
- Coordinate with emergency services and provide support as needed.
- Prepare and ensure accommodations are informed of crew names and flight details prior to crew’s arrival.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Aviation/Aerospace related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
- Applicants without diploma but with relevant experience are welcome to apply
- Able to lift/carry items
- Comfortable with shift work

Compensation:
- Upon obtaining Flight Dispatch License, additional $140 Flight Dispatch Allowance
- Shift allowance/month: average $240
- Entitled to OT payment
- Staff transport will be provided for candidates working beyond midnight
Work Week & Shift: 6 days per week, rotating shift (morning, afternoon and overnight shift)
Working Hours: 44 hours per week
