Position: Project Manager - Desktop Support
Working Hours: Mon-Fri
Job Type: Contract (one-year)
Salary Package: Up to $8k (basic) + AWS
What You Will Be Working On:
- Project Oversight: Manage desktop support projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Requirement Analysis: Study business and technical requirements, and design desktop support solutions to meet current and future needs.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate a team of desktop support engineers to deliver high-quality support services.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of current desktop support plans, programs, and initiatives, and propose areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Communication: Track project milestones, provide status reports, and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
- In-depth knowledge of desktop support technologies and best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office 365, and related desktop applications.
- Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and software.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices for IT service management.
- Proven track record of managing desktop support projects successfully.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and provide clear and concise updates.
