Job Title: Power Builder Developer
Our Client: Public listed insurance company. In Singapore for more than 50 years. Excellent financial security rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate and Optimize: Take charge of supporting and maintaining client’s proprietary reinsurance system, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate and Enhance: Work closely with business users to understand their needs and implement system enhancements that drive efficiency and accuracy
- Design and Specify: Draft detailed specifications for system change requests, guiding the evolution of the client’s platform
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Engineering/a related technical disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using PowerBuilder tools
- Proficient in BI/Crystal Report reporting tools
- Experience or familiar with insurance/reinsurance industry is good to have
- Knowledge of IFRS17 reporting requirements and Oracle databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and minimal supervision
